the gymnasiums there are two gymnasium buildings in the north end of campus that take up most of the area. these areas also include an outdoor basball diamond, an outdoor pool, a football field and a track oval. inside one gym you'll find more volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts. the other gym is actually a health and wellness center where you have all your exercise equipment and even a rock climbing wall.[/font] |

the dance center don't let those fools laugh at you. dancing can be a major, and here at long beach state it is. the dance center includes the latest equipment for all ranges of dancing including a large ballet studio. make sure you shut the lights off when you're done for the day though.[/font] |

carpenter performing arts center at the pac named after the carpenter siblings who are former alumni, many events are held. the 1,000+ seating center has held debates, movie nights, conferences, concerts, and even a play or two. not to mention there is the richard and karen carpenter exhibit in honor of the alumni.[/font] |

the university art museum here at long beach state, we have our own art museum. in high ranking with the nation's museums, stop in for a visit. you art students will be brought here frequently as well. but with such a variety, many (including visitors on campus) come to tour the museum.[/font] |

the university music center here at long beach state, music is a major to us. look at some of our alumni. whether it's for an instrument or vocals, we can teach you here (although you must audition first). the center however houses rehearsal halls, recording studios, and other halls for your music abilities.[/font] |
